AllReceipts Digital Receipting from Star Micronics

This new innovation of AllReceipts printing from Star Micronics arrives June 2015.

AllReceipts is the NEW Star cloud solution providing retailers with an “instant” Digital Receipting Service for customers. This easy to use software is available with any Star TSP100 receipt EPoS printers and will later be available on many more models.

AllReceipts is an app for consumers that allow them to easily download it on to their smartphones. This provides customers with a saved copy on their Apple IOS or Android mobile device meaning that there is no need for them to take images of receipts for storage and the receipt can be filed and retrieved by date or retailers.

For retailers this provides several key advantages such as:

• Data on Receipts printed and claimed.
• Device Management Tool providing real time status across the installed base of printers. Paper empty, cover open, or unplugged printers are immediately identified with refreshed error status notification on a comprehensive cloud based dashboard. This tool will also link customer satisfaction survey results with identified POS stations.
• “Instant” Customer Satisfaction Survey which the customer completes while claiming the receipt. The link between the Device Management & Survey Tools will allow retailers to drill down to the POS station involved.
• Retailers are provided with analytical data about customer purchases for improved and more precise marketing techniques.

This new technology is available completely free of charge with a Star TSP100 retail printer. Star’s digital receipting eliminates the issues typically associated with email receipting including spam, taking a high quality photo of the receipt and privacy issues. The immediate advantage perceived by the customer is the choice to remain anonymous and yet still receive a digital copy of the receipt.

Triggered by a traditional printed receipt, the digital receipt is ideal for retailers of all sizes looking to offer customers the flexibility of a digital receipting service at no extra cost. Retailers may wish to incorporate the AllReceipts API into a loyalty card scheme allowing customers to retain loyalty information / coupons on their mobile device.
