Newland WD2 2D Wearable Barcode Scanner
The Newland WD2 is a compact wearable scanner for hands-free 1D and 2D barcode capture in retail, warehousing, logistics, hospitality and manufacturing. It uses a 1280 x 800 CMOS image sensor with white LED illumination and connects to compatible hosts over Bluetooth 5.0.
Key Features:
- Two Scan Ranges: Choose the standard-range engine with a crosshair laser aimer or the mid-range engine with a dot laser aimer for longer-distance capture.
- Broad Barcode Support: The imager reads supported 1D and 2D codes, including QR Code, Data Matrix and PDF417.
- Bluetooth 5.0: Wireless communication reaches up to 80 metres in open conditions and supports BLE and HID modes.
- Rechargeable Battery: The 670 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated for up to ten hours of continuous operation and charges in under two hours with compatible equipment.
- Workplace Protection: IP65 sealing and 1.5 metre drop resistance help protect the 43 g scanner during mobile work.
