Star Micronics SP298 Dot Matrix Slip Printer
The Star Micronics SP298 Dot Matrix Slip Printer is a compact and robust impact slip printer. It is available with the choice between a serial or parallel connection to best suit your point-of-sale system.
Key features include:
- Small footprint: The 298 is small and unintrusive compared with other slip printers and takes up less space on your desk.
- Easy loading: Loading your slips have never been quicker and easier with the SP298’s clever and user-friendly design.
- Auto alignment: Star’s AutoSide Loading™ feature lets you print additional text to a slip later using auto alignment and positioning.
- Long lifetime: The SP298 has a MCBF (mean cycles before failure) of 2.5 million lines and a print head lifetime of 70 million characters. This means that your SP298 will continue to reliably print for years to come.
- Ribbon included: Included in the box are a ribbon cassette and a user manual.
