Zebra DS8208 2D Barcode Scanner
The Zebra DS8208 is a corded handheld scanner for fast 1D and 2D barcode capture at retail counters, collection points and stock-handling workstations. Its 1600 x 1200 pixel imager reads supported printed and electronic codes, while the green aimer and warm white illumination help the user locate each barcode.

- 1D and 2D Reading: The imager supports common retail formats, including Code 128, UPC/EAN, QR Code, Data Matrix and PDF417.
- Fast Handheld Capture: Motion tolerance reaches 160 inches per second and swipe speed reaches 40 inches per second in the stated test conditions.
- Wide Field of View: A nominal 48° horizontal by 36° vertical field supports comfortable presentation of compatible barcodes.
- Clear Feedback: Decode LEDs, a beeper and vibration provide visible, audible and tactile confirmation.
- Workplace Protection: IP52 sealing, resistance to repeated 1.8 metre drops and 2,000 half-metre tumbles suit regular counter use.
